Utilities Architect

Company Overview: AxiaMetrics is a leading consultancy firm specialising in providing innovative solutions for the utilities sector. With a strong commitment to excellence and cuttingedge technology we are embarking on a transformative project to migrate from Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) to a new stateoftheart billing system.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Utilities Billing Expert Solution Architect to play a key role in leading the architectural aspects of this conversion project. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in utilities billing systems particularly in the context of Oracle CC&B and will guide the design and implementation of the new billing system.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the solution architecture for the migration from Oracle CC&B to a new billing system.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including business analysts developers and project managers to ensure a seamless transition.
  
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing billing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  
• Design and implement solutions that align with industry best practices and meet the specific needs of the utilities sector.
  
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions ensuring they align with the overall project goals and objectives.
  
• Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in utilities billing.
  

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience as an Architect or Solution Architect with a strong focus on utilities billing systems.
  
• Proven expertise in Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) and experience with its migration to new systems.
  
• Indepth knowledge of utilities industry standards regulations and billing processes.
  
• Strong understanding of solution architecture principles design patterns and best practices.
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  
• Experience working on remote projects is a plus.
  

Location: This position is based in the United Kingdom but remote work options are available for the right candidate.
