About the job
A pioneer news media house covering news & events from the cryptocurrency industry and blockchain technology is searching for a Chief Editor to oversee the development of all material for the website. You must have the capacity to lead a team, exercise sound judgment, have excellent writing abilities, and pay close attention to detail in order to be successful as our UX Designer & Researcher.
Responsibilities:
User Research:
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights into user behaviors and preferences.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings to inform the design process.

Information Architecture:
- Develop and optimize information architecture, ensuring logical and intuitive navigation for users.
- Create user flows and wireframes to outline user interactions and system functionality.

Interaction Design:
- Design and prototype user interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of design principles into the development process.

Usability Testing:
- Plan and execute usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from usability testing and user feedback.

Visual Design:
- Collaborate with visual designers to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing user interface.
- Ensure consistency in design elements and branding across digital products.

Accessibility:
- Advocate for and implement accessibility best practices in design to ensure an inclusive user experience.
- Conduct audits and testing to identify and address accessibility concerns.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
- Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX Designer & Researcher, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
