Job Title: Transmission Line Principal Engineer (Remote)

Additional Information: The candidate should be able to provide identification if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.
Requirements:
- Availability to travel within North America
- Direct experience in the development design engineering and construction of High Voltage Transmission line projects (7 years)
- Experience creating transmission design standards in Microsoft Suite
- Valid drivers license
- Bachelors degree in electrical Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering
Preferred:
- Project Engineering/Project Management experience
- PMP and/or P.E. certification
- Experience with PLSCADD AutoCAD Primavera and other relevant software
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage the design for assigned transmission generation tie lines for Wind Solar and Battery Energy Storage and for standalone transmission line projects from conception (Early Stage) through construction and commissioning (Execution).
- Work with the EarlyStage Project Manager to define and influence the project requirements and scope with the Development Group.
- Secure engineering consulting resources from a list of approved suppliers by developing a scope of work securing bids and awarding work through Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Group.
- Coordinate with other project stakeholders to develop and secure a route and secure the data and permits needed to design and build the line including geotechnical data and lidar data.
- Coordinate the engineering deliverables in support of competitive proposals as well as design and construction of projects.
