- Provides strategic direction and leadership to ensure all good governance goals and objectives meet Blumont’s and the donor’s standards and objectives;
- Creates strategic linkages between local governance structures and civil society actors in Jordan;
- Liaise and develop professional relations with key stakeholders, including with [donors], other development organizations involved in similar assistance programs in the region, and local governance and civil society actors to ensure integrated planning, coordination, and consensus;
- Closely supports the Technical Deputy Chief of Party to ensure that all governance deliverables are compliant, delivered on time and within budget;
- Manages and leads Governance Specialists and possibly other technical staff to ensure efficient and timely implementation of projects, including quick-impact projects;
- Develops criteria to assess the quality and capabilities of Jordanian governance actors;
- Utilizes expertise in civilian administration and governance development to guide the program and partners in planning, implementing, and evaluating program activities;
- Ensures that relevant deliverables including grant applications are submitted on-time and in the highest quality; and
- Other duties as assigned.
