- Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist Administrative Director or Operations Manager. Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required. May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist. Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrates proper operation of PACS HIS and RIS computer systems.
- Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR DR and PACs applications.
- Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens infection control and body substance isolation.
- Maintains department competencies as required.
Holiday OT Callback Multipliers: 1.25%
Call: BR/hour
Requirement description :
- Minimum 1 year current XRay experience
- ARRT (RTR) Certification Required
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Must have completed formal JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology Program.
- Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress work intensive environment.
- Attendance at all mandatory education is required
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position) current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications Must be uploaded with profile including Covid Vaccination proofs (dated on or after 10/3/23) or intent to file exemption form
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- ARRT
- BLS (AHA)
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Massachusetts
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : MA license must be in hand at profile upload
Weekend Requirements : TBD/Holiday coverage if required
On Call Requirements : As needed
