Job Description

- Serve as the technical expert to the team as it pertains to designing, developing, and maintaining software components and products
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including collaboration with technical teams
- Serve as a mentor to employees performing software development, including coaching, guiding, and supporting performance
- Mentor the team to ensure they follow coding design principles
- Manage and provide ongoing status updates for respective team(s)
- Follow department procedures to manage product changes and provide direction where needed
- Manage processes and procedures within a team including documentation and data verification controls
- Enforce all coding best practices in development across the team
- Create and maintain documentation of design approaches
