- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience designing, developing, and scaling web and REST API solutions written with PHP.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Software Architecture, System Designs, Design Patterns, OOD, OOP, REST APIs.
- Excellent relational database skills with MySQL, SQL, Postgres, and strong knowledge in NoSQL, is a plus.
- Solid experience with modern Front-End Frameworks such VueJs or ReactJs
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, refactoring, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Implement Unit and Integration Tests.
- Systems thinker who understands how each feature fits into the overall design and makes sure new changes aren’t breaking old working software.
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in iterative methodologies (Agile/Scrum) leading Scrum meetings, developing Sprints, Product Backlogs, Burn Down Charts, Developing User Stories.
- Excellent code review and refactoring skills.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Deep knowledge in SDLC.
- Experience in managing cloud environment such as aws and oracle
- Experience in managing containers tools such as docker.
- Experience with deployment tools such as Kubernetes .
- Superb planning, multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Decision-making skills.
- Decisive and highly disciplined yet lovely and enjoyable to work with.
