Our team is in search of a Technical Proposal Writer to play an integral role in business development efforts through the completion of RFIs/RFPs/RFQ responses for the Public and Private sectors. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing Requests for Proposal and writing strategically positioned proposal responses to present Procores solutions in a manner that differentiates us from the competition and clearly articulates our value proposition.
As aTechnical Proposal Writer, youwill be expected to work directly and effectively with cross-functional teams including Competitive, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Sales. This role requires the individual to write and maintain original, compelling, and technical product-specific content to support Procore, and to effectively customize content for specific strategic sales situations in the public and private sector construction markets as needed. The candidate will be expected to handle a high volume of requests simultaneously and productively.
This key position will report to the Senior Manager, RFP Team, a group within Sales Acceleration. The role can be based out of one of our US offices, or remotely. Were looking for candidates to join our team immediately!
What youll do:

Respond to written requests for information about Procores technology, products and services

Use clear and concise messaging to call out client benefits and competitive differentiation of the companys strategies

Partner with sales and subject matter experts to develop and refine RFP response messaging

Facilitate case-specific proposal response strategies, task lists, and work plans

Maintain consistent product messaging and updated product language and data in the proposal content management database

Cultivate critical relationships across the organization (Competitive, Sales, Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing, etc.)

Ensure full compliance to RFP requirements and response outlines, checklists, and milestones

Achieve 100% on-time completion rate for assigned activities in RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs

Support multiple projects simultaneously and deliver assignments on time

Stay up-to-date with current market and industry trends to develop content and offer suggestions for proposal messaging and strategies
What were looking for:

Bachelors Degree in Journalism, English or Marketing required; emphasis on technical writing preferred

1+ years experience supporting Requests for Proposal (RFPs) is preferred

An understanding of construction project management processes and workflows is required

Experience with using Procore or other Construction Management technology is preferred

Knowledge and understanding of Software as a Service and Information Technology is preferred

Experience with proposal management software such as RFPIO is preferred

Able to create or source written content that is clear, accurate, technically correct, and that achieves messaging objectives

Possesses strong listening and communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsible, flexible, accountable, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, adapt and prioritize to meet deadlines

A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills who values the qualities of Openness, Optimism, and OwnershipQualificationsAdditional Information
