Tasks

As a team leader you will be responsible for the FPGA and embedded software team and develop customer specific embedded vision applications for FPGAs and ARM processors. Your responsibilities include the implementation of product specific software solutions in the area of image/video processing as well as requirements analysis and design of systems for control and processing of programmable logic (FPGA).

Your tasks include:

  • Developing concepts for customer specific image processing systems
  • FPGA programming with VHDL / Verilog
  • Programming in C/C/C# hardware related programming (microcontroller ARM processors)
  • Creation of software specifications software design documentation
    software test specifications and other customer specific documentation
  • Controlling the timelines of the task packages
  • Estimation of development effort for software and FPGA requests
  • Advanced training in FPGA and software programming (ARM part in FPGASoC)

Requirements

What you bring to the table:

  • You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering or a similar degree
  • You have several years of professional experience in hFPGA and software development
  • You have good knowledge in ardware related software development and are
    proficient in the hardware description languages VHDL and Verilog
  • You are eager to play a leading role with your team
  • Your friends describe you as a disciplined implementer
  • What you start you finish carefully and goaloriented
