Tax Manager

Tax Managers are responsible for (but not limited to):

• Reviewing tax returns of varying complexities
• Delegating tax preparation and research to staff (as appropriate)
• Preparing complex business income tax returns
• Tax consulting and projections
• Assuming client service responsibility
• Developing staff members

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in accounting required; masters degree in taxation preferred
2. Current CPA license required
3. 4 7 years experience preparing corporate partnership and individual income tax returns in a public accounting firm
4. Minimum of one (1) year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers
5. Exceptional Excel skills
6. Proficiency with tax automation / workflow software is a plus
7. Consultative approach and client service oriented
8. Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)
9. SelfDirected Autonomous Ambitious
