Syria Response Advocacy Advisor

• Responsible for working with CARE colleagues across the globe - including in particular the Regional Humanitarian Campaign Advisor for the MENA Region - to influence those holding power in the environment through proposing and coordinating advocacy actions. Maintain close contact with the different programmatic teams and collect necessary data, information and evidences for designing the effective advocacy strategy and plan
• Responsible for advising the Country Offices (Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey) involved in responding to the Syria Crisis on which national and international legal frameworks, policies or resolutions are applicable to the crisis (examples may include national laws, International Humanitarian Law, UN Resolutions on Women, Peace & Security, Good Humanitarian Donorship Principles, the Red Cross Code of Conduct, Protocols on Forced Return, etc.).
• Maintain close contact with individuals, networks, alliances, academic associations and different parts of government units, UN, donors, private sectors, etc.
