Position Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Quality Inspector to join the existing Industrial Air Quality Business Unit team in our Power & Industrial (P&I) Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensure that the equipment and products provided to the client and defined in the Work Orders comply with the applicable specifications and standards carrying out inspections of the defined quality characteristics as well as verifying that the subcontracted manufacturing workshops comply with the established quality guidelines.

Position Responsibilities:

Verify that the manufacturing of the equipment complies with the AAF specifications and standards and/or those defined by the client.

Carry out different tests on the equipment to ensure quality in manufacturing.

Prepare the quality reports corresponding to the different inspections.

Consolidate the quality dossier for AAF and clients.

Supervise Train and manage external suppliers to deliver products that meet the AAF P&I Quality Program engineering specifications and manufacturing standards.

Responsible for the development implementation and continuous improvement of the P&I Product Quality Program.

Support supplier development efforts and manage/monitor supplier quality metrics including documenting and maintaining supplier capabilities (in conjunction with the sourcing team).

Meet with suppliers customers quality representatives and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality issues as necessary.

Support in startup and commissioning of EP equipment.

Assist in the development of startup and commissioning procedures for use by qualified contractors.

Education Qualifications and Affiliations

Essential

• Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical / Electrical / Electromechanical / Industrial / Environmental / Chemical / Mechatronics

Technical English (Intermediate Advanced Level)

Experience

Essential

Three years of experience in the manufacturing of industrial equipment and/or machinery

Licenses or Certifications

• Driver license
• Internal Inspector certified in welding by AWS
• Nondestructive testing inspector (Visual and liquid penetrants) ASNT TC 1A
• Industrial Coatings

Skills

Essential

Knowledge of welding application and inspection under AWS and ASME

Interpretation of plans and manufacturing drawings

Handling of measurement and inspection instruments for welding and painting.

Microsoft office management

Excellent proven interpersonal verbal and written communications skills.
