Job Title: Storage EngineerLocation: Remote, EST HoursJob Type: 6-Month Contract (Extendable), Full-timeWork Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time)Responsibilities:As a Storage Engineer on a 6-month contract (with the possibility of extension), you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in NFS, Ceph, Samba, VAST, Weka, and Gradient shared file systems.Main Responsibilities:Storage Infrastructure - Management:Administer and optimize storage solutions, including NFS, Ceph, Samba, VAST, Weka, and Gradient shared file systems.Ensure the reliability
- performance, and scalability of storage infrastructure.System Configuration:Configure and maintain storage systems to meet organizational requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a remote and time-sensitive environment.Experience with Gradient shared file systems is a plus.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications in storage technologies (e.g., Ceph, NFS) are desirable.If you are an experienced Storage Engineer with a strong background in NFS, Ceph, Samba, VAST, Weka
