Job Description:
As an Sr. Android Developer you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to create engaging and interactive experiences that inspire learning and creativity. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the growth of our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop highquality Android applications.
- Collaborate with designers product managers and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver outstanding user experiences.
- Implement new features and enhancements ensuring compatibility across various Android devices and versions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure smooth functionality.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in mobile development incorporating them into our projects.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain the stability and reliability of our applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 5 to 14 years of proven experience in Android development with a strong portfolio of mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK Android Studio and related tools.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and thirdparty libraries.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience developing educational or entertainment apps.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
- Familiarity with Firebase services and cloudbased technologies.
- Contributions to opensource projects or active participation in the developer community.
