Job Description
For a project (home-office possible within Switzerland) at our client s site, based in Winterthur, we are looking for an experienced Migration Solution Architect - RedHat.
In this role, you are responsible for defining and designing target solutions, building, and testing migration kits, and providing expertise during the migration process.
Tasks
- Engage with entities at a technical level to define and design the target solution for the different Applications, Tech, and Workplace servers
- Connect with the CTO Office, Product Managers, Center of Excellence, Competency Centers, Cloud Brokers, Factories and Local IT to define solutions, enforce best practices and, industrialized solutions
- Coordinate acceptance of target solution architecture up to the Architecture Review Board
- Support solution build and deployment in collaboration with the entity
- Develop organization, process, and tools to migrate the different applications or infrastructure
- Promote the leverage of existing platforms, Tech Profiles or Architecture Patterns to accelerate migration
- Adapt standard patterns to suit the needs of specific entities or specific scopes
- Industrialize migration with documentation, procedure, script, automation, checklist, prerequisites, migration platforms and tools
- Drive proof of concept to validate the proposed solution
- Responsible for building, testing, transitioning and providing expertise for migration kits and tools to entities and migration factories
- Investigate L3 incidents and problems in collaboration with entities, factories, and vendors
Requirements
- Several years of experience working as a Migration Solution Architect
- Strong skills in RedHat Linux, RedHat OpenShift, and RedHat Ansible for deployment on Azure, AWS, or On-Premises
- Proficiency in Infrastructure, Development, CI/CD, Operations, Containers, API, Security, and Automation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish internal legitimacy to address local and technology domain leadership
- Fluent in English
