Software Engineer Mid Level - Laravel Vue JS

We are recruiting a Mid Level Full Stack Software Engineer with excellent experience in Laravel and Vue Js to join our engineering team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop record and maintain scalable laravel applications both front end and back end.
  

• Build innovative stateoftheart applications and collaborate with the rest of the team in writing cross platform APIs for the different applications.
  

• Support existing Laravel Applications and build unto them.
  

• Meet with Project Manager to gather requirements and break down tasks.
  

• Attend review meetings with clients to review progress and action plans.
  

• Convey effectively with all task progress evaluations suggestions schedules along with technical and process issues.
  

• Document the development process architecture and standard components.
  

• Train end users where necessary.
  

• Coordinate with the rest of the team and keep project manager wellinformed of the status of all tasks allocated.
  

• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
  

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

• 3 Years of experience with Laravel framework.
  

• 2 Years of experience with Vue JS framework.
  

• Knowledge of frontend web technologies including HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript JQuery AJAX Bootstrap etc.
  

• Excellent understanding of MVC design patterns.
  

• Strong experience in integrating with external web applications and writing REST APIs.
  

• Strong database skills working with MySQL or any other relational database including optimizing big and slow queries.
  

• Experience in working with tools such as Yarn Composer Npm etc.
  

• Great understanding of building scalable applications for user bases of over 10K users.
  

• Experience in deploying web applications.
  

• Strong understanding of using GIT for version control.
  

• Knowledge in using Jira for project and tasks management.
  

• Educational background: Computer Science Software Engineering BBIT or an equivalent. (Degree not a must)
