Founded in 2001 and based in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), we design, deliver and support highly flexible and customizable close-loop payment solutions for Fuel and Fleet as well as Loyalty program managers. Our platform manages switching, transaction processing, cards, stakeholders and all financial information required to run a card program. Our customers are among the leading players in their segment and are located in various countries in Asia Pacific.
The Full Stack Developer will be part of the Technical team and participate in all phases of the solution development project life cycle, including analysis, design, developing code, testing business software applications and project implementation. The Full Stack Developer will also be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging and maintenance of high-volume, transactional systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Help define and build new features or applications based on technology and business needs.
Develop and maintain applications, interfaces and batch services according to the coding standard and pre-defined architecture/design.
Deliver tasks on time according to schedule and provide accurate task status.
Manage branching (source code version control).
Participate in technical discussion and feature analysis.
Support testing team in troubleshooting during testing phase.
Support IT Operations and Technical Project Leader during deployment phase.
Engage in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
Feed the knowledge base repository.
Raise and discuss potential impacts on task delivery with the Technical Project Lead
Requirements
Education and Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer Science.
Relevant Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in full stack architecture and distributed systems development
Experience in building or integrating with web services (RESTful, SOAP)
Knowledge of GitLab / RabbitMQ / NServiceBus / Cloud Technologies / NoSQL / CI-CD Technologies will be an added advantage
Experience with Atlassian Software Tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) will be an added Advantage
Experience in payment card industry will be a strong plus.
Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft ASP.net MVC form, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Crystal Report, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and JQuery.
Knowledge of Atlassian Software development and Collaboration tools is a strong plus
Good command of English, both verbal and written.
Willing to communicate and work constructively within a collaborative team in an international environment.
Possess analytical and problem solving skills.
Organized, self-motivated, energetic, customer-driven, confident and assertive, accountable and have initiative.
Knowledge of Online Transaction (ISO 8583) is an advantage
A good team player.
