Position Overview
** NOTE: Candidates must be located in central Ohio **
The Software Developer will play a crucial role in ensuring our software systems are built with the highest levels of quality. They will take architecture designs from the Software Architect and develop them. They must be a champion of modern DevOps practices to continuously improve our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develops documents and maintains architectures requirements algorithms interfaces and designs for software systems.
Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
Develops software verification plans test procedures and test environments executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
Develops selects tailors and deploys software processes tools and metrics.
Executes and documents software research and development projects.
Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains systemspecific issues and processes.
Trains and mentors others
Actively pursues opportunities to continuously learn and improve core software skills team processes and systems.
Requirements
Critical Competencies
Comfortable developing a SaaS application
Highly detail and resultsoriented and comfortable working with a minimum of intraday direction or feedback. We are seeking individuals who have a high level of initiative and take personal ownership in their roles and responsibilities.
Not shy about learning nor reluctant to build bridges to accomplish goals.
Disciplined curiosity: interest in asking why and synthesizing important findings into alternatives and recommendations.
Confidence in tackling new business or technical challenges.
Qualifications
3 years of experience in software development
Demonstrated experience with Java Spring Boot MVC MongoDB REST APIs Web Development
Demonstrated experience with cloud software
Demonstrated experience in a software organization following modern DevOps practices
Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Must be located in central Ohio and able to commute to Dublin Ohio office 12 days per week.
