Wilmot Cancer Institute Apheresis Registered Nurse
FT (40 hrs/ week).MF 40hrs; 5 8hr shifts



Responsibilities include the coordination and performance of blood component procedures such as cell collections and plasma exchanges for both ambulatory and inpatients. Attributes include strong interpersonal communication flexibility organization and excellent IV skills. The candidate must be able and willing to collaborate with various healthcare team members throughout the hospital independently coordinate patient care and work within a small care team.

**This position assumes the charge nurse role actively participates in unit/service activities supports coworkers and assesses unit needs**

Requirements:
NY RN License
BLS (from AHA)
Telemetry experience
1 year of Apheresis experience
1 year of inpatient care

Preferred Experience:
Optia and Cellex machines
