Website: Company Location: 2375, Alpha Ave, Burnaby, BC, V5C 5L2 Position: Shipper Receiver Job Type: Full-time; Permanent Salary: $26.45 per hour Number of positions: 2 Work location: 2375 Alpha Ave, Burnaby, BC, V5C 5L2 Start date: As soon as possible Job Responsibilities Maintain shipping logs and file all paperwork related to incoming distributions and transfers. Organize containers and crates, record contents manually or electronically, pack goods and attach identifying information and shipping instructions. Oversee loading and unloading of trucks or other conveyances. Inspect and verify received products against invoices or other documents, recording shortages and rejecting damaged products. Unpack, code, and move the received product to its appropriate warehouse location using the appropriate equipment in a timely manner. Maintain bill of ladings, invoices, and other shipping records. Ensuring a clean, safe work environment. Perform other job duties as assigned. Position requirements Secondary school would be an asset. Experience in related occupation or as warehouse worker would be an asset. Computer skills including Microsoft Office would be an asset. A strong sense of responsibility, dependability, and work ethic. Note: Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1000.00 to interested candidates.
