Senior Systems Technician consultant - Storage and Backup Specialist

Blue Lobster AB is seeking a System Technician Consultant to join our IT department specifically focusing on IT production services. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in server management Linux administration virtualization storage and backup systems. Currently our IT infrastructure primarily virtualized using VMware requires additional support in storage solutions. This role will be part of the IT operations team.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise in configuring patching and installing storage backup Linux and VMware systems.

Conduct troubleshooting for both new and existing solutions including occasional offhours support.

Collaborate as a technical expert in various development projects.

Competencies in Linux VMware backup storage and hardware.

Required Skills:

Level 3 competency (48 years of experience)

Minimum 2 years of experience in storage management.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Linux administration.

Preferred Skills:

More than 4 years of experience with EMC Networker.

More than 2 years of experience with Redhat Ceph.

More than 4 years of experience with VMware.

More than 4 years of experience with Shell scripting.

More than 4 years of experience with Ansible.

More than 2 years of experience with VMware Orchestrator.
