Senior Software Engineer (HYBRID)

Overview:

Our client is looking to hire a self motivated Senior Software Engineer. This role will work as a part of a team that assists in the understanding and enforcemant of company standards while also building skills and work-related knowledge and abilities to team members.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and code computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. May program web sites.

Work as a leader in an agile team environment with other engineers to develop application features and functions as described in product backlog user stories.

Develop software using Node.js, TypeScript, JSON, and/or other programming languages and standards.

Lead other engineers to identify current operating procedures and define design and implementation objectives while working as an effective leader within an agile Scrum team.

Formulate plans using industry standard techniques to outline tasks required to deliver committed user stories.

Identify and resolve data quality issues, such as integrity, accuracy, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.

Qualifications:

5+ years of development experience in an enterprise environment with demonstrable expertise in tools and technologies similar to those in software development.

Demonstrable expertise in software design, software patterns, and object-oriented programming (OOP) techniques and minimum of 5 team disciplines with proficiency in a majority of the others.

Ability to communicate effectively with Product Owners, Stakeholders, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.

Must be able to work on call as required.

Experience providing leadership in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
