For our location in Freiburg im Breisgau we at NexWafe are looking for Senior Simulation Engineer (Chemistry) (f/m/d).

Tasks

• You will be responsible for initiating performing verifying and presenting the results of complex dynamic and kinetic gas and chemical simulations and calculations.
• Define boundary conditions model and perform calculations in line with process development objectives.
• Working with experimental teams you will refine and improve simulation models based on real data.
• Make recommendations for further action based on the results of simulations.
• You will interpret the results of experiments conducted on the production line to validate and verify the accuracy of the simulations.
• You will work closely with other simulation engineers and the team leader to ensure seamless alignment with project objectives.

Requirements

• PhD or Master of Science in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Over 5 years proven experience as a simulation engineer in a process development environment demonstrating indepth knowledge of dynamic and kinetic chemical simulation.
• Proficient in the use of ComSol chemical/molecular modelling software.
• Experience in silane chemistry is an advantage.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
