Senior Software Engineer- Android AOSP

L4B Software is seeking an experienced Senior Software Android (AOSP) Engineer. Our ideal candidate who shows enthusiasm for new technologies solutions and devices is an excellent problemsolver and enjoys working in a fastpaced development environment.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and implement new features and enhancements for Android applications.
  
• Develop and customize Androidbased products using the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) framework and Board Support Package (BSP).
  
• Implement and optimize the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) for various hardware components ensuring seamless integration with the Android OS.
  
• Design and implement C/C and/or Java code for systemlevel functionality and performance optimizations.
  
• Conduct thorough code reviews offer constructive feedback and adhere to best practices for maintaining code quality and consistency.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Android applications BSP HAL and AOSP/Linuxuser space components.
  
• Research and explore new technologies and techniques to enhance the performance and efficiency of Android applications.
  
• Optimize software for performance scalability and resource usage on various Android devices.
  
• Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure software quality and reliability through testing and debugging.
  
• Document technical designs specifications and implementation details for reference and knowledge sharing.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related fields.
  
• At Least 5 years of professional experience in Android application development.
  
• Proficiency in C/C and/or Java development.
  
• Indepth knowledge of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) Android Operating System (OS) and the Android ecosystem.
  
• Experience with Board Support Package (BSP) development and hardwaresoftware integration.
  
• Expertise with the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and its role in Android system architecture.
  
• Solid understanding of software development principles design patterns and best practices.
  
• Proficiency in collaborating with crossfunctional teams and working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
