Job Title: Senior Sales/Sales Executive
Position Overview: We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our sales team as Senior Sales/Sales Executives. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in their respective territories. This role requires a proactive approach towards generating new business opportunities and delivering excellent customer service.
Location: Bangalore (5 positions) / Chennai (2 positions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned territory to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular visits presentations and followup activities.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs preferences and competitive landscape and accordingly tailor sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales proposals contracts and agreements to prospective clients negotiating terms and conditions as required.
- Keep abreast of industry trends market developments and competitor activities to identify potential business threats and opportunities.
- Generate timely reports on sales activities pipeline status and market insights for management review.
- Adhere to company policies procedures and ethical standards in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.
- Collections is part of this profile for Credit customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate in any stream; MBA in Sales and Marketing preferred.
- Proven track record of 15 years in sales preferably in the express cargo courier and logistics industry with a focus on new business generation.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
- Excellent negotiation presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in local language(s) and English both written and verbal.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
