Senior Quality Manager

We are manufacturing large mobile equipments. The manufacturing of these sophisticated equipments requires heavy steel fabrication installation of prime movers like Diesel Engines or Electric Motors up to 400 H.P Transmission systems like Centrifugal Clutch or V Belt drives or Hydraulic drives Installation of some of the latest ElectroHydraulic control systems available in the world Electronics Control and Instrumentation and Electrical Systems. Our equipments have been developed as per technology obtained by us from world renowned manufacturing organizations based in Germany Austria America Canada etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• This is a critical role where you will be required to ensure the integrity of the quality system.
• Requirements of working closely across the operations service production purchase stores etc.
• The responsibilities as Senior Quality Manager are to provide support for the QMS and enhance the quality of the equipment manufactured. Critical to this role will be the understanding as well as your ability to document analysis of quality problems root causes and implemented corrective actions that describe best practice by means of using.
• Manufacturing methods and problemsolving tools.
• Should have handled the team which would have carried out.

• Approving incoming material from vendors on quality of components.
• Interacting with vendors/customers for improvement in quality.
• Maintain quality inspection records from vendors / customers.

• Establishing quality standards; implementing QC systems to enhance quality of products.
• Conducting tests & inspections ensuring operational effectiveness of equipment.
• Identifying deviations areas of nonconformance & undertake relevant modifications.
• Coordinating with R & D for new developments and manage quality related data.
• Perform Supplier Quality analysis & Process Audit of suppliers work.
• Interact routinely with Purchasing Engineering & Suppliers to proactively improve quality of parts.
• Ensure compliance of quality system processes Both of material supplied by suppliers & within the department.
• Auditing of suppliers and implementation of inspection plan for incoming parts.
• Continual involvement in improving product quality reliability & reducing part cost.
• Implement and maintain quality management systems to measure and control quality in the production process.
• Assist with quality standards for individual products and set out the standards in documents and processes for the production team.
• Complete performance measurements and reporting requirements that set quality metrics for each stage of the production process.
• Create documentation such as quality manuals and procedures and establish requirements for records management document control and control of electronic data from inspection processes.
• Work with operations to raise awareness of the importance of quality and train them in quality procedures.
• Analyse quality problems to identify root causes and implement in corrective action.
• Take proactive measures such as developing and implementing continuous improvement programs covering production processes and quality management systems eliminating the causes of quality issues and reduce the risk of failure.
• Cost analysis and defect drive down addressing nonconformance issues with production team.
• Responsible for reporting MIS (Management information system) with Quality aspects.
• To lead the adherence of Plant Quality management system & SOP at each node of process in plant.
• To develop SOPs work instructions and formats for defining quality parameters.
• Ensure Quality compliance requirements of the Unit assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
