Senior Product Manager (gn) Battery Systems

Hi!I'm Jakob, one of the three founders of VoltStorage GmbH, a Munich-based startup with over 50 employees. In 2016, I founded VoltStorage together with Michael and Felix. Our vision was and is to make renewable energy available around the clock to enable a green, sustainable and fair future. As an expert for stationary flow batteries, we want to cover all application areas of stationary battery storage systems with our multi-technological approach and thus contribute significantly to the energy transition.

To ensure that our major project continues to gain momentum, I am currently looking for a

Product Manager (fn) Battery Systems.

As a Product Manager (fn) Battery Systems you will be responsible for the complete product life cycle in the Battery Systems segment. You will work closely with Product Development, Business Development and Sales and interface with market requirements.

Tasks

• Responsibility for the complete product life cycle in the Battery System segment
• Support in strategic and tactical planning for the development of new products and business areas
• Independent analysis of market, customer requirements and competitive developments
• Introduction of new products and combined solutions, control of the existing portfolio including possible product adjustments
• Close cooperation with sales, product development and business development to create the ideal bridge to the market in terms of requirements
• Responsibility of internal and external product training for sales and marketing teams
• Willingness to travel (20%)

Requirements

• Completed technical or engineering studies or comparable education, ideally with a focus on electrical engineering
• Several years of in-depth experience as a product manager, sales manager or business developer
• Relevant experience with B2B sales channels, cost accounting and customer and supplier management
• Experience in dealing with large amounts of data for the preparation of complex analyses, the derivation of recommendations for action and the support of operational implementation (ERP)
• Business fluent in German and English, other languages a plus
