- Lead and drive your team to innovate and deliver timely, high quality roadmap features with agility
- Perform reviews of all designs to make sure that they address failure mode, security, scalability, extensibility and are suitable for tier 1 services
- Hire top talent within your own team and participate in recruiting activities across other teams
- Guide engineers' career development by providing meaningful and applicable feedback, mentoring and coaching, and seeking opportunities within and outside of your team
- Operate and support the services you own, manage an on-call rotation, and ensure prompt incident response to resolve issues
