The company has history of over 25 years and has over 75 employees across three verticals of Food Ingredients Personal Ingredients and other Specialty Chemicals . The company deals in over 325 products sourced from over 40 global suppliers and well established relationship with over 4000 clients across India.

Job Title: Sr.Manager/ Manager Business Development
Segment: Specialty Chemical Business Unit
Location: Mumbai
Reports to: General Manager Sales Specialty Chemicals BU
Description: The job entails developing and implementing sales strategies for growth of the Specialty Chemicals products. This position is responsible for developing new business and managing existing accounts as assigned. Focus of this role will be on actively promoting and selling products to achieve the BU s sales targets as per annual operating plan and budget for the financial year.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for meeting the top line volume and value targets for the financial year in line with Specialty Chemicals Business s growth plan and strategy.
2. Develop plan and implement sales strategies for new customer acquisition.
3. Develop plan and implement sales strategies for achieving maximum sales potential from the existing customers.
4. Generate monthly quarterly and annual sales forecast and ensure its effective implementation.
5. Develop new Key Accounts and ensure sustainable growth & profitability of these accounts as per the annual target.
6. Carry out product gap analysis on an ongoing basis and provide input for the Sourcing team to identify new principals.
7. Develop proper market intelligence and carry out competitor analysis to identify and develop Ankush s unique selling propositions and differentiators for our products basket.
8. Carry out market mapping & potential analysis for the assigned region / territory.
9. Ensure regular monitoring of collection to ensure no payment over dues as per the agreed norms.
10. Coordinate with customer services team / warehouse for all dispatch related matters. Should visit the warehouse every month to physically check stock positions product quality shelflife related aspects to ensure there is no dead stock at any point in time.
11. Ensure 1215 days of customer visits in a planned manner covering all key customers / other customers.
12. Participate in all business review meetings sales review meetings as per plan.
13. Actively participate in all trade shows / exhibitions to promote Ankush s products generate new business leads and track and monitor sales level progress.
Qualification and Experience
Education: B.Tech (Chem.) /M.Sc/B.Sc (Chemistry) preferably an MBA
Experience: 1015 years experience in Sales new Business Development with a Specialty Chemical Distribution company of repute.
Hands on experience in CASE industry with exposure of handling products like defoamers wetting & dispersing agents preservatives emulsion polymers oligomers photo initiators Silanes Surface modifiers & other specialty products.
Demonstrated strong business development and key account management exposure.
Competencies
Strategic sales planning forecasting skills.
High on execution skills and driven by results.
High on product category knowledge and understanding of newer industry/product trends.
Sound analytical & problemsolving skills.
Should have a growth mindset.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Good communication skills (verbal written as well as listening)
