Summary:
Partnered with a rising giant in the E-sports Betting industry looking for a Senior Backend Go Engineer to work on new and existing applications.
The team focuses on creating an AI system to recognise events in games like Fifa/Call of Duty/CS GO/Starcraft and automatically update live odds on professional E-sports games with minimal downtime! This combines a mix of AI, Algorithms, and low-latency tech all combined to make a great product.
The company is constantly forming new partnerships bringing in brand new greenfield projects, meaning there is always something new and exciting to work on.
Interestingly, they are keeping a focus on flat-team structure to ensure your voice is always heard and provide to opportunity to have insight into all aspects of the project you are working on!
Responsibilities:
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Develop + maintain distributed applications whilst focusing on scalability and performance.
- Work with multithreaded, distributed applications.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Work on in-house applications to develop new and existing services.
- Mentor junior/mid-level colleagues.
- Opportunity to involve yourself in architectural discussions.

Qualifications:
- 3+ Years Go/Golang
- Great experience with Docker
- Knowledge of AWS
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with Kafka
