Senior Associate Labor & Employment Law (Highprofile corporate acquisitions)

Location: Palo Alto


Our clients Labor team based in Palo Alto California is in search of exceptional lateral candidates (classes of) with comprehensive expertise in labor and employment law to represent some of the largest tech conglomerates globally. The cases involve highprofile corporate acquisitions and employmentrelated legal matters for prominent companies and executives.


Candidates open to relocation are encouraged to apply. The starting base salary for this position in Palo Alto is anticipated to range between $420000 to $435000 per annum. The actual salary will be determined based on qualifications relevant experience and other jobrelated criteria in compliance with applicable regulations.


The Labor team provides counsel on a wide array of matters including:


Various U.S. and international transactions

Employment procedures encompassing hiring and termination of executive and managementlevel personnel

Comprehensive strategies for workforce reductions

Preparation of offer letters wage theft notifications background checks and employment agreements

Advice on noncompetition agreements and other restrictive clauses

Handling employmentrelated demands and negotiating settlements

Conducting internal investigations especially for sensitive issues like harassment discrimination and whistleblowing

Crafting employee handbooks and policies and addressing labor union matters

Requirements

  1. Minimum 58 years of experience in Labor and Employment
  2. To relocate / work from the Palo Alto Office.
  3. Minimum 12 years of experience in advising clients on employmentrelated issues in the tech industry
  4. Minimum 12 years of experience in corporate acquisitions

Requirements:
1) Must be working for an AmLaw 200 Firm company
2) Must have worked on high profile cases in labor and employment
3) Must be in Defense (representing companies not individuals)
4) Must be JD within
5) Doesnt need to be in CA can be anywhere in the US but must be willing to relocate.


Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Labor and Employment To relocate / work from the Palo Alto Office. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in advising clients on employment-related issues in the tech industry Minimum 1-2 years of experience in corporate acquisitions Requirements: 1) Must be working for an AmLaw 200 Firm company 2) Must have worked on high profile cases in labor and employment 3) Must be in Defense (representing companies not individuals) 4) Must be JD within 2014-2017 5) Doesn't need to be in CA, can be anywhere in the US but must be willing to relocate.
