2. BASIC FUNCTION
a. Manages coordinates and supervises overall activity personnel and machinery of the
section. Responsible for the production quality of the section in conformance to standards.
3. JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS AND ABILITIES
a. Minimum of 10 years independently managing relevant section in identical ceramic tiles
manufacturing company.
b. Able to work lengthy hours if needed and works all shift flexibly when job demands.
4. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
a. Degree / Diploma in Engineering ( Preferably Electrical/Mechanical/Ceramic )
5. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Carries out all tasks control activities of all operations in section by guiding his
subordinates in their duties & responsibilities.
b. Plans & implements production activities closely monitors production to achieve targets
and quality objectives.
c. Coordinates with other sections takes prompt corrective and preventive action to solve
problems related to production & quality.
d. Works to achieve cost reduction by planning & implementing best production practices
reduction of wastage & rejection.
e. Plans & coordinates with maintenance for reducing machine breakdown by proper
corrective & preventive maintenance activities in section.
f. Prepares & maintains all reports related to production & downtime. Maintains reports
and documents required for ISO and other product quality auditing entities.
g. Maintains records of raw material & consumables used in the section.
h. Enforce company rules discipline safety protocols & good house keeping in the section.
