Seasonal School Photographer - Houston TX

We are The Missing Sock and we are hiring within the Photography Department. The job is performed in different preschools and schools around Houston TX.

Tasks

What will your role be in TMS

Have you ever smiled at an old photograph you found while cleaning out old albums Have you ever wished you could go back to the moment captured in a photo Thats where the real impact of what we do shows. We give people a way to remember the good times. And you as Photographer make it possible. You are the person who will capture the essence of each child. You are the bridge that connects the essence with an image. You are the reason the school and parents want to work with us again. In other words you are the magic maker.

The photographer is the core of our company. Capturing the essence of children in the most genuine way possible is undoubtedly the photographers goal.

As a TMS Photographer these are your top responsibilities:

• Organize equipment and materials assembling necessary equipment and ensuring that all supplies are available on Picture Day.
• Represent TMS professionally at all times while adhering to all company and school rules and policies.
• Arrive on time to the assigned & confirmed Picture Day location.
• Maintain confidentiality of school and studentrelated information.
• Assemble alongside with the Photographers Assistant the mobile studio.
• Capture the unique personality and smile of each student in a highquality portrait.
• Upload all the physical forms that were hand out to them during the photo session on the available form.
• Download all the pictures taken on your hard drive.
• Open Lightroom and make a first image selection.
• Export the selection and upload them to our Dropbox.

Requirements

As a Photographer these are your musthaves:

• Intermediate knowledge with external lighting usage or flash usage
• Previous customer service and/or photography experience
• Fluent in English and in Spanish (oral and written)
• Own Transportation.

You will shine if

• You have the ability to work well in a team environment and without direct supervision.
• You have proven experience of Intermediate Lightroom knowledge.
• You have 1 year of proven experience being a professional photographer.
