Overview:
The SAP TM role is crucial to our organization as it involves the successful implementation and management of the SAP Transportation Management system. The individual in this role will play a vital part in optimizing our supply chain and logistics operations ensuring seamless transportation management and enhancing overall warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP TM system
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand transportation requirements
- Design and execute transportation planning strategies
- Monitor and optimize freight consolidation and route optimization
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP TM system
- Participate in system testing and troubleshooting
- Train end users on SAP TM functionalities and best practices
- Develop reports and analytics to track transportation KPIs
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and standards
- Manage integration with other SAP modules and external systems
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or related field
- Proven experience in SAP TM implementation and support
- Expertise in transportation planning and execution
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles
- Ability to analyze and optimize transportation networks
- Proficiency in SAP TM configuration and customization
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance
- Capability to train and support end users
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Project management and crossfunctional teamwork experience
- Understanding of integration between SAP modules
- Analytical and reporting skills
- Certification in SAP TM is a plus
- Experience with thirdparty logistics providers is advantageous
