Ownership, accountability. It's talked about often, especially in sales. How often is it a reality?

In this case, it is. We're working with a client currently active in the UK market. You'll be taking over from an established salesperson who has done a fantastic job in breaking into the UK market. Whilst known internationally the current reach in the UK is still below their market share elsewhere, this means there's still a lot of growth opportunity to go after.

Printing and flexographic technology and parts is a tough market but one you'll be able to navigate, with both the backing of a marketing and customer service team.

As a business, the quality and delivery of the product are the mainstays. They're able to get the right product to the client up to 50% faster than the nearest competitors thanks to an extensive, and well-invested machine park.

They also are leaders in innovation, with leading OEMs working closely with them to take advantage of their ability to create products their competitors can not.

Tasks

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, through prospecting, lead generation, and networking
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, through regular contact and follow-up
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to retain and grow current business
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create and execute effective sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Keeping track of key sales metrics and benchmarks, and providing regular reporting and analysis of sales performance
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals set by the company

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in sales, preferably selling into the label and print industries. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. You should also be a self-starter and be able to work independently, with a strong focus on achieving results.
