Job Description: Sales Manager
  • In light of our expanding production capacity we need a Sales Manager to oversee daytoday quoting sales management and client servicing for the following products: SS STEEL Hexagon Bars SS Round Bars and SS Flats.
Position reports to: Owner of the Company.
  • Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Accountable for achieving sales targets (quantity collections and profitability).
  • Develop new market plans and execute strategies for appointing dealer and subdealer networks.
  • Plan and execute strategies for brand awareness.
  • Assess creditworthiness and maintain overall outstanding under control.
  • Ensure proper supplies to the markets.
  • Monitor dealers wholesale and retail prices.
  • Plan brand building brand positioning and promotion activities.
  • Develop untapped/new markets and increase penetration in strategic markets.
  • Ensure timely supply of products to customers/dealers.
  • Support logistics personnel in developing the transportation network as required.
  • Conduct market visits and analyze competitor information/market intelligence.

Requirements

Educational Background and Work Experience

B.E/B.Tech/MBA/Diploma/Postgraduate with 28 years of experience in a similar role.

Competencies

  • Thorough knowledge of the products and market.
  • Good communication skills; proficiency in Gujarati is preferred.
  • Customer focus relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Ownership and drive for results.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Managing skills.
