Overview:

The Sales Manager in the Edtech industry plays a critical role in driving the companys sales efforts and revenue growth. This position is vital for advancing the companys presence in the education technology market establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and developing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

Note: This is the equtity based role only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base in the Edtech sector
  • Manage a team of sales representatives and provide guidance training and motivation to achieve sales targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leading the sales team in prospecting and lead generation
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction
  • Analyze sales data market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports forecasts and budgets to the senior management team
  • Participate in industry events conferences and networking activities to promote the company and build partnerships
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective pricing strategies and negotiation tactics
  • Lead by example demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to achieving sales targets

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales management specifically within the Edtech industry
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to meet and exceed targets
  • Deep understanding of the Edtech market including industry trends competitors and customer needs
  • Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to make datadriven sales decisions
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and action plans
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in conducting sales activities
