• Plans calls (engage visits). • Review priorities with BD manager. • Prepares contacts: statistics, credit history, demurrage/debt, service and rates to offer, call/contact file. • Call/contact customers: presents the products/services of the company, gets information about competition, explores new projects or plans expansions for the customers. • Reports each call. • Plans how to establish and maintain major account relationships by phone or e-mail. • Establishes and builds strong clients relationships, allowing to increase the business with their portfolio. • Creates and keeps the right agreement with their clients. • Monitors competitors’ activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated to build a market feedback, • Search information of the market: rates, competitors, customers, opportunities and projects. • Prepares and sends the quotations in time to the customer. • Updates customer data base in SAP. • Develops and expand current business portfolios from small to medium accounts (both “Geo from” and MR). • Creates and keeps Rate Agreements (RAs) in FIS for own portfolio. • Approves RAs in adherence with “4-eye Principle”. • Prepares the weekly coaching session. • In exceptional cases, carries out visits.
