Job Title: Ruby Developer / Software Engineer

Location of role: Remote role, ideally from Chicago area first choice but remote is fine. May or may not necessarily need to come in once a quarter if remote to the Chicago area.

Salary 110K or more depending on experience DOE

Duration of role: Direct hire Role - Fulltime

Key Points of the role:

Must have hands on Ruby experience designing / developing application software (prefer someone with javascript & python exp) and Unix / Linux, some experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, etc., who will eventually lead a team.

Some Clojure / Javascript are a big plus.

This team is focused on designing and developing tools and applications and for this role, we need someone who will be the sole product owner for one of our monitoring applications written about 10 years ago. Needs to be completely revamped and it will be this person's job to do all of that as well as possibly even rewrite it.
