Responsibilities:

• Provides specialized technological support in the build of: Network or Server and SAN infrastructure.

Infrastructure Skills:

• Experience with one (1) or more different platforms e.g. Windows Solaris Linux
  
• Experience with the installation and setup of operating systems/environments and database technologies
  
• Knowledge of supporting programming languages and communications protocols for the specified platforms
  
• Experience with VmWare and/or Solaris containers
  
• Knowledge of middleware and gateways
  

Desirable Skills:

• Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Networking (ACI) and VMware(NSX) Building new infrastructure with automation as per design criteria.

• Provide solution status on various project being worked on.
  
• Demonstration of leading projects and initiatives end to end (technical and nontechnical.
  

Knowledge/skills in Communications and Customer Service:

• Demonstrated experience of working with customers/key stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues negotiate or document process related intelligence.
  

Knowledge/skills in Analysis and ProblemSolving:

• Ability to work on Network/Security Project Initiatives along with all KTLO activities. Daily usage of all Network Tools to provide proactive support (NNMI HPNA Nexus Insight Netscout Elastic Algo Sec).
  

Most recent experience and demonstrate your knowledge with Cloud:

• Demonstrated knowledge and operational support experience with Azure/AWS/GCP/IBM Cloud providers or OnPremise Cloud environments that are of the same scale as the Government of Ontario Cloud or BPS environments.
  
• Demonstrated knowledge in scripting/coding using Agile/DevOps practices to improve service delivery.
