Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) PACU Department

Location: Lynwood California

Hourly Pay Rate: $62/hr (Negotiable)

Shift: 07:00 19:30

Position Type: Per Diem

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PACU Department
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our PACU Department team in Lynwood California for a per diem position. This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $62/hr negotiable based on experience and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment. As an RN in the PACU Department you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patients vital signs airway and level of consciousness during the postanesthesia recovery phase.
• Providing pain management and comfort measures to patients as needed.
• Monitoring and managing potential complications related to anesthesia surgery and the recovery process.
• Collaborating with surgeons anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educating patients and their families about postoperative care instructions and expectations.
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments interventions and outcomes.
• Adhering to hospital policies procedures and standards of care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a PACU Department.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and teamoriented environment.
