Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR)

Location: Norman OK

Salary Range: $27.84 $45.46/hour (based on education and experience)

Shifts:

• 10hour shifts:
• 12hour shifts:(Shift details will be discussed further during the interview.)

Position Type: Permanent

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team in Norman OK for a permanent position. This role offers a competitive salary range of $27.84 $45.46/hour based on education and experience and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment. As an OR RN you will be an integral part of the surgical team providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with surgeons anesthesia providers and other healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient care before during and after surgery.
• Preparing the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assisting with patient positioning draping and sterile technique during surgery.
• Monitoring patients vital signs and responses to anesthesia and surgical interventions.
• Administering medications and intravenous fluids as prescribed.
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout the surgical process.
• Documenting all aspects of patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Oklahoma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and teamoriented environment.
