RN Nursing Surgical Unit

Department: Nursing Surgical Unit

Shift Timings: 07:00-19:30 Monday to Friday (3 Days/12 Hours)

Per Week: 36 Hours - EOW, EOH - May need to float to sites within 40 miles radius

3 Months Contract

Role & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Certifications & Clearance Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• The National Institutes of Health (NIH)

• 2 years of experience

• Epic required

• 2 Professional References
