Job Description

To manage Release Management activities for the Workers Compensation Program.

Work with Dev leads and Test Managers to consolidate and execute a Implementation plans . Initially in test environments i.e. plan and coordinate mock (dry run) activities for specific projects in lower environments and then into production.

Work with Dev leads Test leads and scrum masters to assist triage and address defects.

Ensure compliance with the Client Release Management process.

Work closely with the lower environment team and test leads to facilitate lower environment planning.

Gain and draw on an understanding of the client application and Infrastructure landscape and application interdependencies.

Key accountabilities:

Ensure that all project streams client teams or 3rd party vendors submitting changes for a release have met the current Enterprise Test entry criteria and will be compliant with all release methodologies and timelines.

Drive crossproject code impact analysis to ensure compatibility of various streams in a release and to highlight risks/issues of potential late inclusions.

Drive resolution of technical issues outside project control.

Experience

  • Solid understanding of Release Management processes and principles.
  • At least 5 years in a Release Manager Change Manager or Service Delivery Manager role or at least 5 years in a similar senior Release or senior Project Manager role.
  • Preferred experience with at least 2 of the following applications: Salesforce Mulesoft (integration) Guidewire (core insurance application) Sitecore (customer portal).
