The Role:

We are looking to recruit a Recruitment Advisor to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of HR you will be responsible for overseeing the internal recruitment for the group as well as supporting across a range of HR matters. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the organisation by ensuring recruitment and HR practices align with business objectives and foster a positive work environment.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Collaborating with internal hiring managers to conduct job analysis develop job descriptions and define candidate requirements.
  • Supporting with the development and implementation of recruitment strategies.
  • Writing engaging job adverts and posting in order to attract and hire top talent.
  • Overseeing the sourcing screening interviewing and selection process of candidates in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Ensuring a positive recruitment process for all parties communicating regularly with candidates and managers throughout.
  • Building a pool of top talent for future opportunities within the business.
  • Managing positive relationships with external recruitment agencies and HR partners as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate recruitment/HR records and documentation ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees including preparing necessary documentation coordinating orientation sessions and providing relevant information.
  • Conducting HR induction meetings and assisting managers in developing onboarding plans for new hires.
  • Working collaboratively with the Training Administrator and hiring managers with new hire training needs and booking training courses as necessary.
  • Preparing and analysing recruitment and HR data reports including employee turnover demographics and performance metrics.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations by updating policies and practices accordingly.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working within internal recruitment or talent acquisition. You will have specialist experience in overseeing all aspects of the recruitment process including advertising proactively resourcing shortlisting interviewing and onboarding. You will have a positive cando attitude and be an enthusiastic creative team player. You will be a confident communicator who enjoys building positive longterm professional relationships with hiring managers candidates and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be fully IT literate with knowledge of the MS Office Suite. You will have experience of using an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage the recruitment process in an accurate and timely manner. You will be detail orientated with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy everchanging workload.

Ideally the role holder will come with experience of working as part of an inhouse HR team and of supporting across a wider range of HR duties. A CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
