Overview:

The RBI Compliance FCGPR/FCTRS position is crucial for ensuring adherence to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations related to Foreign Collaboration and Overseas Investments. This role plays a vital part in the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting and implementing RBI regulations related to FCGPR and FCTRS
  • Conducting regular compliance assessments and risk reviews
  • Developing and maintaining compliance procedures and policies
  • Preparing and filing necessary reports with RBI
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance with FCGPR and FCTRS
  • Performing compliance audits and presenting findings
  • Assessing the impact of new regulations on existing processes
  • Training and educating staff on compliance requirements
  • Handling communication with RBI and other regulatory bodies
  • Identifying and addressing compliance issues and escalations
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of compliance activities
  • Participating in compliancerelated projects and initiatives
  • Performing risk assessments and proposing risk mitigation strategies
  • Responding to compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of compliance frameworks and strategies

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified or semiqualified chartered accountant company secretary
  • 3 years of experience in RBI compliance particularly in FCGPR and FCTRS
  • Thorough understanding of RBI regulations and guidelines
  • Experience in conducting compliance assessments and audits
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and across different departments
  • Certification in Compliance or Risk Management is a plus
  • Proven track record of implementing compliance procedures
  • Knowledge of international financial regulations and best practices
  • Detailoriented with excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to proactively identify and address compliance issues
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Problemsolving skills to resolve compliancerelated challenges
  • Ability to stay updated on regulatory changes and their implications
