We are hiring a Radiographer Basic Grade at a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland.
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Responsibilities
- Carry out high standard best practice clinical imaging when required and be professionally responsible for all aspects of own work maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
- Maintain an effective and efficient highquality radiographic service for the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
- Demonstrate flexibility by the various shift patterns and the service needs of the Department and partake in the Department s radiographic rota.
- Participate in an oncall rota basis as and when required.
- Perform Intravenous cannulation as and when required.
- Ensure that local and national Radiation Protection Rules are always applied and be familiar with all legislation and guidelines contained within the Local Rules for Ionising Radiation.
Requirements
- BSc (Hons) in Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
- CORU registration and maintenance of such is essential
- Minimum 1year postgraduate experience is desirable
- Must have high clinical and technical skill level
