We are hiring a Senior Radiographer in a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- The post holder will be expected to live CHI values and be childcentered compassionate progressive and will act with respect excellence and integrity.
- Undertake Radiographic and Imaging Examinations as required in the Department of Radiology.
- Organise the imaging of patients in the Diagnostic Imaging Department
- Undertake training as required to new Radiographers student Radiographers trainee Radiologists etc.
- Manage participate and play a role in the practice education of student Radiographers
- Participate in training new members of staff in equipment and department protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort while in the Diagnostic Imaging Department explaining procedures waiting times etc.
- Review radiology requests for correct ordering details e.g. LMP hazards clinical details.
Requirements
- CORU Registration
- Relevant Radiography Experience
- RPO qualification or willingness to undertake
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Commitment and understanding the importance of quality and safety
