Essential Job Functions:
Support completion of PPAP (Preproduction Approval Process) documents and obtain customer approval in all aspects including inspection standard process flow control plan process FMEA dimensional data material test results check fixture gage R&R process capability and customer specific requirements
Serve as single contact/point of contact for customers
Complete dimensional checks and data preparation
Complete testing using test and/or measuring equipment in the quality lab
Assist Senior Quality Coordinators with customer/supplier issues as needed
Window person for supplier issues for applicable customers
Assist with issuing STR and debit memos to suppliers
Support root cause analysis and countermeasure activity for supplier quality issues
Report to the Quality Manager on supplier improvements and countermeasures
Prepare Monthly Supplier Quality Report
Support supplier QAV activity including confirmation of current suppliers quality system and evaluating potential new suppliers quality system
Travel to customer and/or supplier at least 25% of the time
All other duties assigned by management

Education:
REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED
PREFERRED: Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Qualifications & Skills:
REQUIRED: 24 years experience in quality control excellent oral and written communication skills computer literate ability to use Microsoft office and ability to maintain accurate records
PREFERRED: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Internal Auditor certification
Required Training:
MINIMUM REQUIRED TRAINING: Orientation and safety training
