We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and process improvement initiatives. This role involves designing and implementing tests debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Development and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases on both new and existing software to ensure product quality. This includes functional regression performance and usability testing.
- Defect Management: Identify document and track bugs. Work closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve defects.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance QA testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement quality assurance metrics to measure product quality and ensure standards are consistently met.
- Requirements Verification: Review and analyze system specifications to ensure that testing strategies align with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development and product management teams to understand product vision and specifications. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product reliability and usability.
- Tool Management: Utilize various testing tools and software for QA purposes. Stay uptodate with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports and metrics to senior management regarding the softwares quality status and the outcomes of testing phases.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role in software development.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Handson experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Experience with automated testing tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Experience in B2B marketing or sales, ideally in a similar industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues. Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use data to make informed decisions. Understanding of marketing concepts, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, and messaging. Knowledge of marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and other marketing technologies. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, including developing and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives. Familiarity with social media, digital marketing, and content marketing strategies. Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas and strategies. Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
